MODERN CALLIGRAPHY 101 WORKSHOP
We are so excited to share these beautiful photos of our Modern Calligraphy 101 workshop, taken by Laura McCluskey. We hosted a special launch event in May 2015 to celebrate our new collaboration with the Corner Room, and we are so grateful for the immense popularity of the class ever since. Seriously.
The class is taught by Lamplighter founder Chiara Perano at the stylish Corner Room at Town Hall Hotel, and is a super fun, relaxing and artistic workshop. The ticket price includes a beautiful calligraphy starter set to take home, and a delicious lunch - the perfect start to the weekend. Places fill up fast, as it's a great way to spend an afternoon, learning a wonderful craft with a friend, or meeting some like minded typography lovers! Corner Room is set within the architectural beauty of the Town Hall Hotel in Bethnal Green and is light, stylish and airy, the perfect place to get your creative juices flowing during class. The room itself is a beloved photo spot, due to a chic lamp wall feature and mid century finishings, we challenge you not to get your camera out.
