VERNAL EQUINOX
Dark grey skies might convince you otherwise, but today is the first day of Spring. The Vernal Equinox is the official term, and at 1pm this afternoon it bloomed.
Conjuring up ideas of tumbling blossom, cotton wool clouds and fluffy bunnies, (in my head anyway) Spring is actually my favourite time of year. Much to the dismay of my better half, who is an absolute summer baby, I love the crisp mornings and blustery afternoons. I feel like come March, it's time to make exciting plans, to come out of hibernation and feel fresh, cut the grass and bake a cake. Or something.
In honour of the budding daffs, I've designed a wallpaper background which I hope will grace the screens of Spring lovers everywhere.
