The piece was created for the Babes in Arms collective, and was shown at the extended show at the De La Warr Pavillion in East Sussex in 2022.

The piece depicts the often ‘touched’ out feelings experienced in Motherhood, and the changing shape of a woman’s body during pregnancy. The endless touching of new bumps, soft, delicate, eventually raw and unfamiliar stretching; waves of checking and mothering, overwhelming and loving.
