Social Media & Digital Assistant 

Lamplighter London is a modern calligraphy and design studio, working with lots of big brands and exciting projects. We create bespoke artwork as well as a small/expanding selection of products and teach calligraphy workshops. We are a very small team, currently based in Hackney, and are looking for the right person to take our social media up a level. 

All marketing and social media is currently undertaken in house, but with a very busy schedule this year we want to bring someone in who can drive our social and marketing strategies. 

We want to create videos for social media, fun engaging posts, an interesting blog, with a well curated look across all social channels. This is a really exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing creative business, with so much creative freedom and scope to build great content. Ideally you'll love taking beautiful photos and have the capability to edit them in photoshop. 

The position would suit a motivated creative with a love of digital marketing and social media, inspiring ideas and a good eye for detail and colour. Must have a knowledge of the design world, trends, finger on the pulse and good sense of style.  You will have a passion for creating exciting content, with excellent grammar and written English. Marketing/PR knowledge + contacts a bonus. Must be able to work off own initiative, with a proven record of growing an audience through engagement and interaction. Position will require reporting on your results. 

The role will be 1-2 days a week based at the studio on a freelance basis, with massive growth potential.
